we have two types of sessions
are great for clients who need just a couple of photos of one person or one group of people. they are 200.00 and last just 15 minutes with one person or one grouping of people.
Micro sessions
are great for clients who would like a little more time for a few more options, they last 45 minutes and cost 650. They may have multiple people they want included in the photos with multiple groupings. its a great option if you want a few more artistic options for wall art and prints

WHERE: sessions occur at our beautiful, light-filled, studio on the west side of Madison, Wisconsin. 6801 university Ave #110, Middleton 53562
WHAT: you see your images immediately, and pick out the ones you want right away.
COST: micro/mini sessions are a *fraction* of the price of a custom and private photoshoot, because we do them back to back with a high volume of clients.

this 4th quarter "neutral territory" session is all about skin tones and beauty in diversity- with lime-washed walls, all natural fabrics, and beautiful light, this fresh organic look can work with nearly any brand. Three setups will be available: a desk/office scene, a lounge set (pictured), and headshot/groupshot set. Micro sessions on both thursday 17 and friday 18th, and mini sessions will be held on sunday 20th
The definition of 'soma' is 'body' - and we want to kick off our inaugural season with tones that celebrate and honor our diversity. Neutral tones inspired by skin tones will be our background, and neutral-toned attire is highly encouraged. Micro sessions will be held on saturday the 21, and mini sessions held on sunday the 22.

this quarter's family sessions are a neutral holiday theme- with a minimalist holiday aesthetic that is appropriate for all faiths and belief systems. Think elevated, sophisticated, and organic vibes, with a hint of winter holiday. micro sessions held on saturday the 12th, mini sessions on sunday the 13th.

So if you like this quarter's theme, you need to book it now, because like all good things, it wont last.
here's the deal. mini sessions often sell out, because there are a limited number that can be done in one weekend. To book your ideal time, you need to be ready when registration opens, select, sign, and pay for your session. Regardless if you are booking a session as a brand, a dancer, or a family, you need to be ready on sept 6th at 10am CST to snag your spot.

All sessions take place at the gorgeous Studio Soma, a 1,500 sq ft modern organic space with limewashed walls, aesthetic furniture, and floor to ceiling 14ft windows.

the answers to your most common questions
Brands: you can bring your work with you! ie: florists can bring their arrangements, artists can be photographed with their artwork, etc

Well behaved pets are welcome on leash! Photo studios (with our big lights on stands) aren't the most friendly for high-energy furry friends.

Need more than 1 session? Go for it! Sessions are first come first serve, so you are welcome to book as many as you need

You will see ALL the photos that were taken during our session, and pick out your favorites which will be edited and delivered within a week.
Please don't book a brand shoot on a dance shoot day, or a dance shoot on a brand shoot day, etc. Our lighting is specifically set up for the type of session, so you will be super disappointed with the outcome!

Include as many people as you'd like in your sessions! The group needs to stay together with micro sessions- However, will get as many combinations as possible within the 45 min limit of a mini session.
If you didn't snag a session in time, there will be something different next quarter! but PLEASE JOIN THE WAITLIST in case anyone needs to transfer their session due to illness or otherwise!

Can't make your session after you booked? Just like a concert, sessions are non-refundable, but you can transfer them to someone else! We usually have a waiting list of people hoping to snag one.
The rumors are true- you wont see this theme again. We keep our photography fresh and current, so this is the only time you will be able to be photographed in this theme (unless, of course, you book a custom shoot). so be ready when registration opens!
