For this luxury desert retreat, typical real-estate style photography wouldn't cut it. We wanted to show what the resort would feel like while  guests visited, so they could *feel* the experience. We included perfectly un-made beds, the  topography of Joshua Tree, and their target audience - female friends in their 30-40s - lounging in the pool.  Highlighting the organic aesthetic, we went with a minimalist composition approach- showcasing the details of linen pillows, limewashed walls, raw-edge wood tables, and the xeriscape desert landscaping.
